Clearing a Jammed Fastener (Fig. M–P)
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn unit off and remove air supply before
making any adjustments or removing/installing
attachments or accessories. An accidental
actuation can causeinjury.
If a nail becomes jammed in the nose, keep the tool pointed
away from you and follow these instructions toclear:
1. Disconnect the tool from the air supply and engage
triggerlock.
2. Depress pusher release

and slide pusher

all the
way to the front of themagazine.
3. Depress nail stop

and slide fasteners

frommagazine.
4. If nail is jammed between the driver and nose force
driver blade back to the top using a 1/4" (6.4mm)
punch and hammer. When the nail is released it will fall
free or can be removed usingpliers.
5. If nail still can not be removed, remove the magazine:
a. Remove screws

b. Removemagazine.
c. Remove bentnail.
d. Reassemble in reverseorder.
NOTE: Should nails continue to jam frequently in nose, have
tool serviced by an authorized servicecenter.
