  If your Craftsman Pole Saw engine won't start, there are several potential causes: * The fuel tank may be empty; if so, fill it with properly-mixed fuel. * The primer bulb may not have been pressed enough; press it 10 times or until fuel is visible. * The engine might be flooded; in that case, move the choke lever to Position 3, press the throttle lockout, squeeze the throttle control, and pull the starter rope until the engine starts. * The fuel could be old or improperly mixed; drain the tank and add fresh, properly-mixed fuel. * The spark plug may be fouled; if so, replace it.
