Count contest cards based on player count and place them face down.
The player whose birthday is coming up next serves as the first judge.
Give each player, except the judge, a secret card keeper.
Deal four challenger and four twist cards to each player (excluding the judge).
Place remaining challenger and twist cards face down into draw piles.
The judge reveals a contest card for all players to see.
Players choose a challenger card they believe will win the contest.
Players close their card keepers and hand them to the judge.
The judge shuffles the closed card keepers and passes them back.
Players add a twist card to aid their chosen challenger.
The judge opens keepers, reads pairs aloud, and displays them.
Players present arguments to the judge about their chosen pair winning.
Empty card keepers and place used cards into a discard pile.
The player to the left becomes the judge; players draw new cards.
Continue playing rounds until all contest cards have been used.
