8. Use and application
●
The equipment may only be used by persons who
have been instructed in handling the equipment or
have proven qualification and expertise in operating
the equipment or have been explicitly assigned the
task of handling the equipment.
● The equipment must not be operated by personnel
under 18 years old, or by personnel who has not
been instructed properly.
● The SmartWasher
®
with its tools must be checked
to ensure that it is in proper working order and is
operating safely prior to use. Otherwise, the equip-
ment may not be used.
● The operator must use the equipment properly. The
device is meant for manually cleaning parts in metal
processing factories and plant maintenance.
●
The degreasing fluids (OzzyJuice
®
) oered for this
device and the corresponding microbe filter mats
(OzzyMat
®
) should be used for the device to func-
tion properly.
●
The use of other degreasing fluids can hamper or
prevent the bio-degradation of grease and oily dirt.
● Do not use other degreasing fluid such as solvents,
inflammable or explosive liquids, ...
●
The equipment must be installed on a horizontal, firm
base that does not allow liquids to seep in.
● The device is not meant for disposing o old oil. If
large quantities of oil, petrol, gasoline, kerosene,
engine oil, solvent, mineral spirits, anti-frost agents or
similar substances enter the device. This can hamper
the bio-degradation of oil/ grease by the microbes
under normal operating conditions.
● It is not allowed to use the equipment in hazardous
locations. (E.g. Potentially explosive atmospheres,
closed environments, …). If the equipment is used in
hazardous areas (e.g. filling stations) the corresponding
safety provisions must be observed.
● The operator must take into consideration environ-
mental working conditions and must pay attention to
other persons working in the neighbourhood when
working with the equipment.

All current-conducting parts in the working area must
be protected against jet water.
● Do not clean
- materials containing asbestos or other
health-hazardous substances;
- components coming in contact with food;
- human body parts;
- painting tools.
● Wear appropriate personal safety protection equip-
ment against water sprays – especially appropriate
safety goggles and gloves.
●
If the degreasing fluid comes in contact with the
eyes, please rinse the eyes thoroughly with water
and consult a doctor immediately if the degreasing
fluid has been swallowed.
● The SmartWasher
®
basin must provide a stable plat-
form for the parts to be cleaned. The maximum
load capacity is indicated in chapter 4 of this user
instruction.
●
Before using the models SW23 and SW37, the swivel
wheels must be blocked.
