Starting up
Preparation / installation / water filling / power connection / deaerating
Install on a dry, stable, water-
proof and heatproof surface. Not
directly on marble or wood (risk
of coffee or descaler stains)
Carry⁄Transport: Never hold the
machine on the drip tray (risk of
dropping machine)!
Insert power plug in an earthed
socket. Use the main switch to
turn on the machine
Put a cup under the output.
For big cups remove the upper
drain grill
The key Lungo ⁄ Tea
flickers
slowly light ⁄dark (= Energy-saving
mode). Press any key (all keys light up
in white)
Clean the water tank with luke-
warm water and household deter-
gent, rinse and allow to dry thor-
oughly
Fill tank with cold water (max. 1.1
litres). Change water daily

Deaerate and rinse the internal
piping: Do not load a capsule. Place
a cup under the output and press
2 - 5 times the key Lungo⁄ Tea
