Switch to TONE or PULSE based on your phone service type for proper dialing.
Turn the audible ringer ON or OFF for incoming calls.
Adjust the earpiece volume to LOW or HI.
Connect the telephone line cord from the unit to the wall jack.
Lift handset for dial tone or to answer. Replace handset or press cradle to hang up.
Use FLASH for switchhook signals, such as with call waiting services.
Verify connections and try a different modular jack if no dial tone is present.
Ensure the DIAL MODE switch matches your area's service type (TONE/PULSE).
Check RINGER CONTROL and ensure too many devices aren't on the line.
