you
to
adjust
the
volume
of
the
receiver
earphono
from
LO
ond
HI.
HANDSET
CORO
To
assemble,
insert
one
end
of
handset
cord
into
the
HAffOSET
CORD
JACK
and
the
other
end
to
the
HAhjDSET
CORD
JACK
locoted
on
the
leftside
of
the
telephone
body.
INSTALLATION

WALL
JACK
To
install
the
telephone
directly
on o
modular
wofl

:
1.
Connect
the
1S
inch
line
cord
to
the
LINE
CORD
jock
on
the
rear
of
the
telephone
body.
2.
Tuck
the
line
cord
Into
the
channel
on
the
coblnet
reor.
3.
Peel
and
stick
the
rubber
pads
on
rear
of
telephone
cabinet
in
designated
areos.
4.
Hold
the
telephone
body
up
nevt
to
the
modular
|ock
and
pkig
the
line
cord
Into
this
lock,
5.
Tuck
the
excess
line
cord
into
the
recess
provided
on
the
rear
of
the
telephone
body.
6
.
Line
up
the
mountinq
holes
of
the
telephone
body
with
the
mounlirtg
studs
(screw
heodsl
on
the
modulqr
jock
or
wall.
7.
Push
the
telephone
body
agalr^t
the
wall
lack
ond
down
until
H
is
held
securely

place
by
the
mounting
studs.

onto
a

Install
Hie
7
foot
line
cord
into
the
LINE
CORD
jock
on
the
rear
of
the
telephone
body.
If
the
desired
locoKon
is
further
thon

foot
from
a
wall
lock,
you
will
hove
to
obtain
a
longer
line
cord
ovolloble
at
most
hordwore
stores,

Place
the
provided
TEMPLATE
ogolnst
Hie
woH
in
the
position
desired.
3.
Mark
the
wall
by
poking
either
o
pen
or
pencil
through
the
indicoted
spots
on
Hie
template.
4.
If
there
is
no
stud
at
Hiis
location,
it
wiH
be
necessary
to
instoN
the
provided
wol
anchors.
Drill
a
small
pilot
hole
at
Ihe
marked
loco
tens.
Top
the
onchors
into
the
holes.
Then
insert
screws,
but
DO
NOT
TIGHTEN.
Leave
the
screw
heods
protivding
about
74
ir^di.

If
there
is
a
stud
at
Hiis
loeollon,
simply
instoll
the
two
screw
into
the
stud.
REMEMBER.
Leave
screw
head
protruding.
