Use a brush to clean air lter 42, or blow compressed
air through them. If the contamination is too much,
replace air lter 42 Note: do not use gasoline,
solvents, or caustic substances to wash air lter 42.
Install air lter 42 in place�
Install cover 41 and tighten special nut 40
Install cap 6 and lock latch 12
Checking the spark plug (see g. 20-21)
Put the tool on at ground.
Unlock latch 12 and remove cap 6 (see g. 20.1).
Unmount air lter 42 as described above�
Remove cap 43 from spark plug 23 (see g. 21.1).
Unscrew the spark plug 23 with the multi-purpose
wrench 25 (see g. 21.2).
Purge the deposits from the electrodes of the spark
plug 23
Check and adjust (if necessary) the gap between
the side and centre electrodes of the spark plug 23 (it
must be equal to 0,6-0,7 mm (see g. 21.3)).
Mount the spark plug 23 in place and put on the
cap 43
Install air lter 42 as described above�
Install cap 6 and lock latch 12

service center please keep 1/3 volume of the fuel
in the tank.
An indispensable condition for the long-term and safe
operation of the tool is keeping it clean as well as its
timely technical maintenance�
Should the tool collapse, notwithstanding the thorough
check of the tool technical properties by the manufacturer,
any repair shall be carried out only by CROWN skilled
service specialists�
