power tool, if they are not supervised or instructed
about use of the power tool by a person responsible
for their safety
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
power tool for your application The correct power
tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which
it was designed
Do not use the power tool if the switch does
not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be
repaired
Disconnect the plug from the power source and /
or the battery pack from the power tool before mak-
ing any adjustments, changing accessories, or
storing power tools Such preventive safety meas-
ures reduce the risk of starting the power tool acciden-
tally
Store idle power tools out of the reach of chil-
dren and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the
power tool or these instructions to operate the
power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands
of untrained users
Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or
binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any
other condition that may affect the power tool’s op-
eration. If damaged, have the power tool repaired
before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are
less likely to bind and are easier to control
Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits
etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking
into account the working conditions and the work
to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations
different from those intended could result in a hazard-
ous situation
Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean
and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and
grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and
control of the tool in unexpected situations
Note that when you operate a power tool, please
hold the auxiliary handle correctly, which is helpful
when controlling the power tool Therefore, proper
holding can reduce the risk of accidents or injuries
Service
Have your power tool serviced by a qualied
repair person using only identical replacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool
is maintained
Follow instruction for lubricating and changing ac-
cessories
Safety guidelines during power tool
operation
Before commencing operation
Spraying inammable materials increases the risk of
re or explosion, so please follow all the required pre-
cautions and ensure that there are re-extinguishing
means on site
After handling inammable materials (for example,
after mixing or thinning paint or after cleaning any parts
of the power tool) remove all used containers and the
cloth, as they may cause re.
Make sure that the area where the works will take
place is properly ventilated - gases or vapors gener-
ated during work may be harmful to your health and
increase the risk of re or explosion.
Do not work near the sources of open re or sparks,
hot objects, engines
Do not spray materials having a ash point
below 21°С - this increases the risk of re or explosion.
Prior to spraying the material, carefully read manu-
facturer's instructions in order to undertake the appro-
priate safety measures
Do not spray unknown materials or materials with
unknown dangers
Do not spray any materials that can damage the
power tool; if the power tool breaks as a result, your
warranty will be voided Spraying acids, alkalis, materi-
als containing abrasive particles, materials containing
lead, liquid glass, excessively thick materials, and oth-
er materials that are difcult to spray or to form drops
is strictly prohibited
Install the power unit onto the horizontal vibration-
free surface The air sucked through the holes of the
covers 12 must be clean; therefore, do not use the
base unit in a dusty environment; also make sure that
the covers 12 are not covered by anything (only for
models CT31014, CT31014M, CT31015)
During operation
Use personal protective equipment - special cloth-
ing, glasses, gloves, and closed shoes
Use special masks intended for the protection of
respiratory system from harmful substance vapors
Please note! The use of dust masks or respirators
will not assure the required effect - you may suffer
severe intoxication.
Smoking during spraying inammable materials is
strictly prohibited
While working, do not direct the stream of the
sprayed material onto yourself, other individuals,
or animals The stream may pierce your skin (even
through gloves) and inject the sprayed material - in
such a case seek medical attention immediately
Please bear in mind that during working the sur-
rounding air lls with "mist" consisting of ne drop-
lets of the sprayed material that subsequently settles
on surrounding surfaces The surfaces on which the
"mist" precipitation is unwanted should be covered
When working outside, the "mist" is exposed to wind,
which may lead to negative consequences (unwanted
painting of objects, causing harm to health, environ-
mental contamination)
Do not switch on the power tool if there is no liquid in
the reservoir - dry running causes rapid wear of power
tool components
After nishing operation
The power tool must be cleaned after each use as
described below Failure to clean or improper cleaning
may cause breakage of the power tool, which will void
the warranty
Dispose of the sprayed material residues (paint
materials, solvents, etc) in strict compliance with the
manufacturer's instructions
