1. Vehicle must have a factory XM Tuner.
2. Radio must be in Bluetooth mode in order to hear Navigation app voice prompts.
3. Handsfree feature is not available. Use the phone to make and receive phone calls.
Below is a sample installation of the BTS-XM1 on a GMC Denali. The XM tuner is behind the glove
box. Other vehicles may have the XM tuner at a different location such as in the trunk or on some
SUVs, the rear panel where the tire jack is located. For a list of XM tuner locations, please see page 3.
1. Open the glove box and push up
on the locking tab to release the
glove box.
2. Locate the factory XM tuner.
3. Unplug the factory 16-pin XM
tuner connector and plug it into
the 16-pin mating connector of
the BTS-GM1X harness.
4. Plug the other 16-pin connector of
the BTS-GM1X harness to the XM
tuner.
5. Plug the 12-pin Molex connector to
the BTS-GM1X module.
6. Use cable ties to secure the
module.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Open Glove Box

Open glove box and push up on the locking tab to release it.

Step 2: Locate XM Tuner

Locate the factory XM tuner in the vehicle.

Step 3: Unplug Tuner Connector

Unplug the factory 16-pin XM tuner connector and plug into harness.

Step 4: Connect BTS-GM1X

Plug the other 16-pin connector of the BTS-GM1X harness to the XM tuner.

Step 5: Connect Molex Connector

Plug the 12-pin Molex connector to the BTS-GM1X module.

Step 6: Secure Module

Use cable ties to securely fasten the module in place.

Operation Guide

Connect to blueLOGIC

Go to phone's Bluetooth settings and connect to blueLOGIC.

Select XM Mode

Go to XM mode, press SEEK DOWN until beep, confirm blueLOGIC.

Play Music

Play music from phone; audio plays through factory speakers.

Toggle Modes

Press SEEK DOWN to toggle between XM and Bluetooth A2DP mode.

Magnetic Phone Mount

Assemble Mount

Pop magnetic head into base socket and tighten locking nut.

Mount to Vent

Slide the mount into the AC vent grille.

Attach Phone

Use metal plate on phone or behind case for magnetic attachment.
