2. Thread the female Aeroquip® onto the male by hand, until tight.

CAUTION
Never apply lubricant to the open ends of the Aeroquips®. Doing so will contaminate the
system and void the warranty. Apply lubricant to the Aeroquips® only after they are hand
tightened together.
3. Before using this product carefully read and follow the instructions on the can. Only a
small amount of TFL-50® should be used. A typical amount is shown in Figure B-4. The
spray nozzle should only be depressed for 1 second or less. If a white film appears on
the surface, too much lubricant has been applied.
