TEST
MENU
When
the
CELL .TEST
key
is
pressed
on
the
front
panel
of
the
Model-2500,
the
CELLULAR
TEST
MENU
along
with
the
menu
selections
are
displayed.
The
Cellular
Test
Mode
LED
will
also
illuminate
on
the
front
panel.
The
CELLULAR
TEST
MENU
consists
of
five
possible
selections

Each
menu
selection
is
displayed
on
line
2
of
the
VF
display.
The
user
can
scroll
through
each
menu
selection
by
pressing
the"DOWN
ARROW"
key
on
the
front
panel
of
the
Model-2500.
When
the
desired
menu
selection
is
displayed,
the
ENTER
key
may
then
be
pressed
to
execute
that
menu
selection.
Each
of
the
four
menu
selections
are
described
in
detail
in
the
paragraphs
to
follow.
IMPORTANT
NOTE
During
any
phase
of
a
cellular
test,
the
"CELL TEST"
key
on
the
front
panel
of
the
Model-2500
may
be
pressed
to
abort
or
terminate
current
operation,
and
to
return
to
the
CELLULAR
TEST
MENU.
To
return
to
the
SERVICE
MONITOR
mode,
press
the
"GEN"
key
or
the
"REC"
key.
3.3.2
PROGRAM
PARAMETERS
When
the
Model-2500
is
used
in
t~e
cellular
test
mode
for
the
first
time,
it
may
be
necessary
to
define
certain
cellular
system
parameters
prior
to
testing
a
cellular
telephone.
This
is
accomplished
by
selecting
the
PROGRAM
PARAMETERS
selection
from
the
CELLULAR
TEST
MENU,
followed
by
the
"ENTER"
key,
and
then
programming
the
parameters
that
follow.
These
parameters
are
saved
in
a
non-volatile
memory
when
power
is
removed
from
the
Model-2500.
The
factory
default
·
values
for
these
parameters
in
the
non-volatile
memory
are
set
to
typical
values
that
may
be
used
for
testing
cellular
telephones.
However,
in
special
cases,
you
may
want
to
redefine
these
parameters
to
suit
the
needs
of
your
test
procedure.
The
programmable
parameters
that
may
be
defined
by
the
user
are
listed
below
along
with
the
factory
default
value:
