Each
manual
test
operation
is
selected
by
pressing
the
"DOWN
ARROW"
key.
Continue
to
press
the
"DOWN
ARROW"
key
until
the
desired
manual
test
is
displayed.
The
test
currently
being
executed
is
displayed
on
the
first
line
of
the
VF
display,
followed
by
the
test
data
on
line
2
of
the
VF
display.
The
manual
test
operations
routine
is
designed
to
be
repeated
from
top
to
bottom,
and
then
back
to
the
top,
as
many
times
as
desired.
Therefore,
when
"TERMINATE
CALL
FROM
CELL"
test
is
reached,
pressing
the
"DOWN
ARROW"
will
return
the
program
back
to
"DISPLAY MOBILE DATA".
Each
of
these
manual
test
operations
is
described
in
the
following
paragraphs.
Display
Mobile
Data
This
selection
provides
display
readout
of
mobile
ID
number
(MIN),
equip-
ment
serial
number
<ESN),
mobile
dialed
number,
and
station
class
mark.
To
view
the
mobile
data,
press
the
"ENTER"
key
to
move
to
the
next
mobile
data
readout.
When
all
mobile
data
has
been
viewed,
press
the
"DOWN
ARROW"
key
to
proceed
to
the
next
selection
in
the
manual
test
flow
chart.
RF
Power
Tests
This
selection
displays
the
current
cellular
telephone
RF
power
level
(0-7),
and
the
RF
power
transmitted,
in
Watts,
or
milli-watts,
from
the
cellular
telephone.
To
change
the
RF
power
output
on
the
cellular
tele-
phone,
press
the
"ENTER"
key
to
advance
to
the
next
RF
power
level.
This
will
transmit
a
forward
voice
channel
power
change
instruction
to
the
cellular
telephone.
The
new
power
level
will
be
displayed
along
with
a
new
RF
power
reading.
When
all
power
levels
have
been
tested,
press
the
"DOWN
ARROW"
key
to
proceed
to
the
next
selection
in
the
manual
test
flow
chart.
Measure
SAT
Frequency
and
Deviation
This
selection
performs
two
different
functions.
The
Model-2500
displays
the
current
SAT
frequency
transmitted
by
the
cellular
telephone
along
with
the
cellular
telephone
transmitter
deviation.
The
deviation
reading
is
the
SAT
deviation.
Voice
deviation
may
be
tested
by
speaking
into
the
handset
on
the
cellular
telephone,
and
monitoring
the
deviation
reading
on
the
Model-2500
VF
display.
The
second
function
allows
the
technician
to
change
the
current
SAT
fre-
quency,
press
the
"ENTER"
key
to
move
to
the
next
available
SAT.
The
new
SAT
frequency
and
deviation
reading
will
be
dislayed.
When
all
deviation
and
SAT
tests
have
been
completed,
press
the
"DOWN
ARROW"
key
to
proceed
to
the
next
selection
in
the
manual
test
flow
chart.
