An uneven cut with your Cub Cadet Lawn Mower can result from a deck that isn't balanced properly, a dull blade, or uneven tire pressure. • T
      Taylor HawkinsAug 20, 2025
If your Cub Cadet Lawn Mower engine is running erratically, it might be due to several factors. The choke might be activated, spark plug wire(s) might be loose, the fuel line could be blocked, or the fuel might be stale. Also, the vent in the gas cap might be plugged, or there could be water or dirt in the fuel system, or the air cleaner might be dirty. Try pushing the CHOKE control in, connecting and tightening the spark plug wire(s), cleaning the fuel line, and filling the tank with fresh gasoline. Clear the vent in the gas cap, drain the fuel tank, and replace the air cleaner paper element or clean the foam precleaner.

Why Cub Cadet Lawn Mower will not mulch grass?
    • S
      Steven GibbsAug 31, 2025
If your Cub Cadet Lawn Mower isn't mulching grass effectively, it could be due to a few reasons: the engine speed might be too low, the grass might be wet, the grass might be excessively high, or the blade might be dull. Ensure the throttle is in the FAST position. Avoid mowing when the grass is wet and wait until it's dry. If the grass is too high, mow once at a high cutting height, then mow again at your desired height, or make a narrower cutting swath. Sharpen or replace the blade if it's dull.
