In the electromagnetic induction heating (IH) method of the IR/IH electric rice cookers, a strong current is sent
through copper coils to the bottom and sides, forming a magnetic force line around the coils to heat the entire
inner pot and cook every single grain properly to make shiny, delicious, and evenly cooked rice.
You may hear a resonant sound from IH operation during cooking or warming. This is a normal phenomenon, and you can use it with relief.
