Why is my Cuisinart Wine Cooler not cooling even though the power is on?
    • D
      Deborah CarrollJul 30, 2025
Several factors can affect cooling. Make sure there are at least 3 to 5 bottles inside. Allow up to 24 hours for the internal temperature to stabilize. Be aware that if the room temperature exceeds 75°F (24°C), the unit won't cool below 51°F (11°C). Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight, a poorly ventilated area like a garage, near heat-producing appliances, or sharing an outlet with a refrigerator. Do not use in a cabinet or closet. Ensure at least 3" (76 mm) of space on all sides.

      Allen RodgersAug 4, 2025
Check that the cooling vents on the right and left sides are unobstructed, ensuring at least 3" (76 mm) of space on both sides and the rear. Also, if the room temperature is 80°F (27°C) or higher, the unit may struggle to cool adequately, especially on the white wine setting. If you're using the unit for the first time, allow up to 24 hours to reach the desired temperature.

      Michael LaraAug 14, 2025
The continuous fan operation is a normal function of the cooling system. The lower the temperature setting, the more the fan will run. The fan will also run more if the room temperature is above 70°F (21°C).
