BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Carefully unpack your Cuisinart
®
Snow Cone Maker. Remove plastic bags from all parts of
the unit. Rinse the snow bin with water and a non-abrasive cleanser, and then dry thoroughly.

Place unit on a at, sturdy

knocked over. Check ice chute
for presence of foreign objects before
plugging in. WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH
BLADE.
To begin shaving ice, drop approx. 8–12
ice cubes (depending on size and shape)
into the ice chute. Do not overll or the
interlock safety feature will prevent the
shaving mechanism from turning on.
Insert the removable snow
bin onto the main housing. Be
sure that the toggle switch is
set to the OFF position and plug into
an outlet.
Flip the toggle switch to the
ON position and rmly push
the ice press
down to start the ice-
shaving mechanism.

Desconecte el aparato antes de limpiarlo o guardarlo.
1. NUNCA SUMERJA LA UNIDAD EN AGUA U OTRO LÍQUIDO, NI LA PONGA EN EL
LAVAVAJILLAS.
2. ADVERTENCIA: LA CUCHILLA ES MUY FILOSA. NO la toque y nunca introduzca la
mano en la boca de llenado para limpiarla. Para limpiar el mecanismo de raspado, vierta
agua tibia en la boca de llenado; esto derretirá cualquier residuo de hielo resultante del
raspado.
3. Lave el recipiente recolector, los conos de plástico y la cuchara para hielo en agua
jabonosa tibia, usando un detergente no abrasivo, o métalos en el lavavajillas (nivel
superior solamente). Seque bien.
4. Limpie la carcasa del aparato con un paño limpio ligeramente humedecido.

Cleaning and Care

General Cleaning Precautions

Never immerse the unit in water or place it in the dishwasher. Blade is sharp; avoid contact.

Cleaning the Shaving Mechanism

Pour warm water down the ice chute to melt and clear any residue.

Washing Removable Parts

Wash snow bin, cones, and scooper in warm soapy water or top rack of dishwasher. Dry thoroughly.

Wiping the Housing

Wipe the main housing and ice press with a clean, damp cloth.

Important Usage Reminder

Do not push ice cubes with hands or instruments; use only the ice press.
