In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, oil, and
vanilla; stir with a whisk. Add the wet mixture

Cinnamon Waffles
Top these tasty waffles with warm
maple syrup and fresh fruit.
Makes 20 waffles

4 cup packed light brown sugar
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt

2 cups lowfat milk

4 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
Crumble the brown sugar to remove all lumps
and place in a medium mixing bowl with the
flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon,
and salt. Add the milk, oil and eggs; stir until
blended and smooth. Let batter rest 5 minutes

Banana Almond Waffles
Classic waffles for a weekend
brunch top with warm syrup.
Makes 20 waffles
4 cups all-purpose flour

4 cup granulated sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
4 eggs, lightly beaten

2 cups lowfat plain yogurt

2 cups whole milk
2 cups mashed banana
1 cup chopped almonds
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking
soda, and salt in a mixing bowl and stir to
combine. In a separate bowl whisk together the
eggs and oil and stir into dry ingredients. Stir
in yogurt. Add milk and stir until mixture is a
smooth batter. Stir in banana and almonds until
incorporated. Let batter rest 5 minutes before
