11. Please ensure that the car seat locks into place with an audible "CLICK".
12. Check whether the Seat locking indicator (12) on the base is GREEN.
13. In order to achieve the best possible protection, activate the Linear side
impact protection (L.S.P) (13) on the side of the car seat facing the vehicle
door by pulling on it's end.
💡
The car seat can also be used with the L.S.P. folded in if there is not enough
space in the vehicle. To do this, fold in the element back to its starting
position.
Installing the car seat with 3-point automatic belt
1. Place the car seat on the vehicle seat against the direction of travel.
2. Make sure that the Carrying handle (10) is locked in position A.
3. Make sure that the Tilt angle indicator (14)
4. Pull out the 3-point automatic belt (15) and place its lap section into the lap
belt guide (16).
5. Lock the 3-point automatic belt (15) of the vehicle in its belt buckle.
6. Tighten the lap section by pulling the diagonal section in the direction of
travel.
7. In order to achieve the best possible protection, activate the Linear side
impact protection (L.S.P) (13) on the side of the car seat facing the vehicle
door by pulling on its end.
8. Guide the diagonal section of the belt behind the head end of the car seat
and through the diagonal belt guide (17) and below the Linear side-impact
protection (L.S.P) (13).

The car seat can also be used with the L.S.P. folded in if there is not enough
space in the vehicle. To do this, fold in the element back to its starting
position.
REMOVAL FROM THE VEHICLE
Removal of the car seat with base
1. To unlock the car seat from the base, pull the seat release button (18) up.
3. Unlock the ISOFIX locking arms (5) on both sides by pushing the release
buttons (4) and pulling them back simultaneously.
4. Pull out the Base (1) from the ISOFIX-Anchorage points (6).
5. Remove the Base (1) and rotate the ISOFIX-Locking arms (5) completely
back into their transport positions.
6. Push the Load leg (2) back into its original position and then fold it in to
save space.
Removal of the car seat with 3-point automatic belt
1. Take the diagonal section of the belt out of the diagonal belt guide (17).
2. Unlock the vehicle seat belt buckle and take the lap section of the belt out
from the lap belt guides (16).
ADJUSTING THE HEADREST
The Headrest (20) can be adjusted by using the Headrest adjustment
handle (21). When adjusting the Headrest (20) ensure that no more than 2
headrest.
SECURING THE CHILD
1. Press the Belt adjustment button (22) and pull both Shoulder belts (23) at
the same time to loosen them.
2. Undo the Belt buckle (24)
3. Put your child in the car seat with the buttocks at the back.
4. Place the Shoulder belts (23) directly over your child's shoulders.
5. Place both Buckle tongues together and lock them in place in the Belt
buckle (24). You should hear an audible "CLICK".
6. If you are using a seat with a SensorSafe Clip, push the clip closed until
you hear an audible "CLICK" and slide the closed clip down towards the
Belt buckle (24).
7. Pull on the Central adjustment belt (25) to tighten the Shoulder belts (23)
until they rest snug against your child's body.

8. When using the SensorSafe clip, position the clip directly below the
shoulder pads.
ADJUSTING THE SUN CANOPY
Unfold the Sun canopy (26) by pulling on the plastic cover.
TRAVEL SYSTEM
