If Auto-Filename is turned off
then you must t
ype in a filename
for the new record (up to 8
characters maximum)
(If the filename already exists
the user will be prompted to
enter another)
Press OK when done

If Auto-Filename is turned on
then you need only confirm the
filename created by the gauge
by pressing the OK key

The new blank record is created.

Note the middle function key is
now LOG – this key is used to
log the thickness measurement.
