Setting Options
When the Gauge is connected to the computer you must
determine the drive letter that Windows
®
has assigned for the
Gauge. In Fig. 9.3 above the drive letter assigned is ‘R:’.
To set this in Cygnus 3 Data Logger Manager menu bar click on
‘File’ then ‘Options’, the dialog box will be displayed as shown in
Fig 9.4. Set the ‘Data Logger Drive Letter’ as required, click
‘Browse’ to check the letter is correct.
The location of the folder that will hold the Record File and
Template Files can also be changed. By default a folder called
‘Datalogger’ is created in the ‘My Documents’ folder
(‘Documents’ on Microsoft Vista). This ‘Datalogger’ folder
contains three sub-folders called:
1. Record Files Folder for Record Files
2. Template Files Folder for Template Files
3. Add-In Folder for Excel Add-In file
When done click on ‘Save’ to save these settings.
