4.7.4 Light Adjustment
4.7.5 Brake Adjustment
Rear Brakes
The mechanical rear brakes respond to a pull on the left-hand lever. When you pull the
lever, the rear wheels should immediately lock. Over time and with consistent use, it is
common to see a brake cable loosen.
Front Bakes
The front brakes are electronic and adjustable and respond to a pull on the right lever.
You can adjust the front brake settings on your HMI screen.
Electronic-ABS Brake Adjustment
On the main HMI menu:
1. Scroll to ‘Vehicle Settings’
2. Select ‘E-ABS - On’ to activate the electronic ABS.
3. Select ‘Brake Intensity’ to adjust the amount of braking power you want the system
to generate.
To tighten the rear brake cable, locate the adjustment
nut on the inner side of the back wheel, and rotate it
clockwise. Keep testing by pressing the brake lever as you
rotate the nut, until you are satised with the tightness of
the brake.
WARNING When you rotate the wheel the wheel
should run freely. When the brake lever is depressed the
wheel should come to a complete stop and with the lever
held rm the wheel should not move.
Brake Intensity
This setting enables you to choose how much braking intensity you apply on the front
wheels when you squeeze the right-hand lever. On the main HMI menu, scroll to ‘Vehicle
Settings’, then select ‘Brake Setting’. You are then able to select one of the following
settings for braking intensity:
25%
50%
75%
100%
WARNING Always remember to apply the rear brakes rst.
