What to do if a lot of smoke comes out of the d.gen Printer fixation unit?
    • J
      Jacob EvansAug 20, 2025
If you notice excessive smoke, several factors could be at play. First, the temperature may be too high for the fabric, so try lowering the SV (set value). Also, the ink quantity on the media may be too high; in this case, lower the ink limit. Ensure the fume buster is turned on, suctioning properly, and its duct is well connected. Check that the air valve is wide open and the inside of the unit is clean and free of fabric fibers and dust.

How to fix uneven colors on d.gen Printer prints?
    • Q
      qpenaAug 22, 2025
Uneven colors indicate a decompensation of heat flow between the heating rods and the media, or uneven airflow within the oven. Ensure the air valve is fully open and the fixation unit’s interior is clean to promote even airflow.

What to do if my d.gen TELEIOS GRANDE H6 Printer media looks soiled with black drops?
    • B
      Brenda MaxwellAug 25, 2025
If your printed media appears soiled with black drops, ensure the inside of the fixation unit is free of excessive accumulations of condensed oil. Also, the free rollers and the up/down roller need to be cleaned, and the heating rods may be very dirty.

Why is the HEATER 1 on but not generating heat in my d.gen Printer?
    • M
      Michael WiseAug 26, 2025
If HEATER 1 is on with the green LED illuminated but not generating heat, one of the multiple bimetals may be opening the circuit for safety. In this case, it needs to be replaced.

What to do if d.gen Printer media comes out burned and creased?
    • A
      Aimee BanksAug 28, 2025
If the printed media emerges burned and creased, the PV (process value) may be too high for the media you are using. Also, make sure the fume buster is on and sucking air out at a considerable air flow velocity, and the time frame while the media is inside the oven may be too long.

How to improve color curing on d.gen TELEIOS GRANDE H6 Printer prints?
    • N
      Noah SalazarAug 29, 2025
To improve color curing, ensure the up/down roller is in the high position. Verify the PV (process value) is correct for both the type of media and ink you are using. Also, check the fixation speed in the oven is correct for the type of media and inks you are printing with. If the fume buster is too strong, try to lower the stream of exhausted air.

What to do if the HEATER 1 is ON but takes too long to reach the SV in my d.gen TELEIOS GRANDE H6?
    • T
      townsendjulieAug 31, 2025
If HEATER 1 is on but taking a long time to reach the SV (set value), check the power source is supplying a stable three-phase + neutral 380 V. Consider when the fixation unit was last cleaned inside. Also, check the fume buster is not lowering the temperature and the room temperature may be too low.

How to troubleshoot a d.gen TELEIOS GRANDE H6 when the fixation unit isn't running?
    • D
      Dan NormanSep 2, 2025
If the fixation unit isn't running, first ensure the power cable is securely plugged into the power source and that the power source is supplying a stable three-phased + neutral 380 V. Check the electric box for any circuit breaker in the OFF position.

What to do if the HEATER 1 is ON but the green LED is off in my d.gen Printer?
    • D
      Danielle HunterSep 4, 2025
If HEATER 1 is on, but the green LED is off and no heat is generated, check the electric box to see if any circuit breaker is in the OFF position. The solid state relay (SSR) in the electric panel may have an LED indicator; if that indicator is also turned off, the SSR may be faulty.
  • K
    Kenneth WilliamsSep 6, 2025
Why is the HEATER 1 OFF but still generating heat in my d.gen Printer?
    • L
      Lisa RichardSep 6, 2025
If HEATER 1 is off, but heat is still being generated, the Solid State Relay (SSR) is likely faulty, since it is still allowing current flow when it shouldn’t be. The SSR must be replaced immediately.
