config mac_notification ports
Purpose Used to configure MAC address notification status settings.
Syntax
config mac_notification ports [<portlist | all] [enable | disable]
Description MAC address notificiation is used to monitor MAC addresses learned
and entered into the FDB.
Parameters <portlist> - Specify a port or range of ports to be configured.
all – Entering this command will set all ports on the system.
[enable | disable] – These commands will enable or disable MAC
address table notification on the Switch.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable port 7 for MAC address table notification:
DES-3526:4#config mac_notification ports 7 enable
Command: config mac_notification ports 7 enable
Success.

show mac_notification
Purpose Used to display the Switch’s MAC address table notification global
settings
Syntax
show mac_notification
Description This command is used to display the Switch’s MAC address table
notification global settings.
Parameters None.
Only administrator-level users can issue this command. Restrictions
