Overview

This document is a user manual for a 12V Monster Jeep, a ride-on toy for children. The manual provides detailed instructions for assembly, usage, and maintenance, along with safety warnings and troubleshooting tips.

The 12V Monster Jeep is a two-seater ride-on toy designed for children, allowing up to two users to ride simultaneously. It features an openable hood, an adjustable seat, and a front bumper with a shock absorber function. The toy is powered by a 12V battery system and includes a remote control for adult supervision.

Function Description:

The primary function of the 12V Monster Jeep is to provide a recreational driving experience for children. It operates using a 12V battery, which powers the motors for movement. The vehicle can be controlled by the child using a pedal and steering wheel, or by an adult using a 2.4GHz remote control.

The openable hood provides access to the battery and other electrical components. The battery wires (red) must be connected to enable power. The vehicle supports optional removable batteries, which can be easily inserted and released using a quick-release feature. These removable batteries are equipped with an independent charging port for convenience, allowing them to be exchanged for charging.

The adjustable seat is a two-seater design, providing additional occupancy. The seat position can be adjusted using a handle located underneath the seat, allowing for customization based on the child's size.

The front bumper incorporates a built-in spring, designed to act as a shock absorber. This feature minimizes injury in the event of an impact, enhancing the safety of the toy during use.

The dashboard includes several functional elements: a power switch, a charging port, a gear selector, an LED switch (on/off), and a pedal. It also features an MP3 player, which can play music and stories. The MP3 player has an AUX port, SD card slot, and USB port, allowing for various audio input options. It includes controls for education/volume down, pause, and music/volume up, along with an LCD display.

The 2.4GHz remote control allows adults to supervise and control the vehicle. It has buttons for forward, reverse, speed adjustment (low, medium, high), stop, right, left, and a park function. The remote control has a memory function, so it does not need to be re-paired after battery replacement. The park button disables the vehicle's movement, preventing it from moving via pedal or remote until reactivated.

Usage Features:

Before using the car, it is essential to ensure all assembly steps are completed correctly, the battery wire is connected, and the power supply is switched on. All parts requiring hardware must be fixed tightly. Adults must ensure children take safety measures before use, including being seated at all times to reduce accidents. The product's recommended seating capacity should be followed, and the maximum number of users should not be exceeded.

Adult supervision is required at all times while the car is in use. Parents are responsible for guiding their child and ensuring they are not left unattended. Attention should be paid to the driving environment and surfaces, ensuring the car is not driven in unsafe areas such as public roads, near ongoing traffic, trenches, riversides, slopes, or uneven ground. Driving in sand, grass, or other terrains that may damage the vehicle should be avoided. The car should only be used during the daytime and under sufficient light for visibility; night use or use under low visibility is prohibited.

When operating the car with the remote control, the distance between the car and remote should not exceed 10 meters. The remote is for adult operation and should be kept away from children. Before using the remote, the instruction manual should be carefully read to understand all functions. The car should be switched to the "P" (park) gear before entering. The remote should not be exposed to water or rain, as this can cause circuit damage.

Maintenance Features:

Regular maintenance is crucial for product life and safety. Before each use, adults should inspect the product and its essential parts for functional condition, checking for loose screws or other potential hazards. Any damaged or defective parts must be repaired or resolved before use.

A small amount of lubricant oil can be applied to moving parts (e.g., motors, gears, hardware) to prevent rust or wear and tear.

The car should be stored away from fire and direct sunlight, in a stable position, and safely away from extreme temperatures or climate. Hot objects like stoves and heaters can melt the plastic, so the car must be kept away from them. Flammable materials should also be kept away from the car to prevent ignition or fire, especially during charging.

After using the car, it must be charged adequately by an adult. If the product is inactive, it should be fully charged at least once a month to ensure battery functionality and life. When inactive, the car's power should be disconnected by unplugging the red battery wire, and all switches should be in the "STOP" or "OFF" position.

Cleaning the car should be done with a soft cloth. Chemical solvents, soap, or water should not be used to clean the vehicle. Driving under precipitation (snow, rain) can damage the motor, battery, and circuit system.

Third-party parts or different fuses should not be used. The product structure or circuit system should not be modified; maintenance and repair work must be performed under the guidance of a professional or technician. The product should not be used for purposes other than its intended recreational use. Battery negative short circuits are prohibited.

Rechargeable batteries must be charged under adult supervision, and non-rechargeable batteries cannot be charged. Batteries must be installed with the correct polarity. Old and new batteries, or different types of batteries, should not be mixed. Low batteries should be removed from the car and kept away from children. If the car is inactive for an extended period (at least one month), the battery should be removed and handled properly, keeping it away from children. The car should not be used by children when the batteries are disconnected or the car is inactive.

The charger, battery, and plug should be inspected for damages or abnormalities before charging. If any are found, usage should be discontinued until parts are replaced or resolved. A warm battery during charging is normal, but excessive temperature elevation from the charger may indicate a short circuit. The battery must be fixed using the pressing plate. When the battery is no longer functional, adults are responsible for safely disposing of it in a battery-safe disposition facility. The charger and battery are not toys and should be kept away from children.
