Overview

This document outlines the assembly, operation, and maintenance of a Mercedes-AMG GTR ride-on toy car. It is designed for children and requires adult supervision for assembly, charging, and certain operational aspects.

Function Description

The Mercedes-AMG GTR ride-on toy car provides an interactive driving experience for children. It features a power switch to activate the engine start-up sound and lights, an MP3 player with built-in music, an AUX port, volume adjustment, and a power display. The steering wheel is equipped with music and horn functions, enhancing the play experience. A gear switch allows children to manually control the car's movement (forward, stop, backward). The car can be operated manually by the child using a pedal or remotely by an adult using a 2.4GHz remote control. The remote control offers speed adjustment (low, medium, high) and a "Park" button to disable vehicle movement, ensuring safety.

Usage Features

  • Assembly: The car requires adult assembly. Key steps include front and rear wheel assembly, trolley wheel installation, seat assembly, spoiler attachment, steering wheel connection, windshield installation, and side mirror placement. It is crucial to follow the instructions carefully, ensuring all parts are securely fastened. Protective equipment should be worn during assembly, and the toy is not suitable for children under 3 years due to choking hazards from small parts in its unassembled state.
  • Power and Charging: The car is powered by a 12V battery. Before initial use, the battery wires must be connected, and the car should be charged for 8-12 hours. Subsequent recharges should also be 8-12 hours, with a maximum of 20 hours, to avoid overcharging or undercharging. The charging port is located on the dashboard. It's important to note that the car will not operate while connected to the charger, as it is equipped with charging protection. If the car starts to slow down, it indicates a low battery and requires recharging.
  • Manual Operation: Children can drive the car manually using the pedal and the gear switch for forward, stop, and backward movements.
  • Remote Control Operation: An adult can operate the car using the 2.4GHz remote control.
    • Pairing: To pair the remote, install two AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Hold the "Forward" and "Backward" keys together for 3 seconds until the center light flashes. Then, turn on the car's power. The remote's lights will stop flashing and stay lit, indicating successful pairing.
    • Remote Functions: The "S" key adjusts speed (low, medium, high), indicated by the center light. The "P" key acts as a park button, disabling the car's movement from both the pedal and the remote. Press "P" again to re-enable power.
    • Remote Control Safety: The remote should be kept away from children and operated by adults. The operating distance should not exceed 10m. Avoid exposing the remote to water or rain. Do not mix old and new batteries or different brands. Remove batteries if the remote is inactive for an extended period (e.g., one month) to prevent leakage. If the remote's operating range drops below 3 meters, replace the AAA batteries.
  • Safety Guidelines: Always wear shoes or footwear when using the toy. The car should not be driven on dangerous terrain, roads, near bodies of water, or over obstacles. Protective equipment should be worn. Do not bypass circuit protection devices; replace only with appropriate ones. The toy is recommended for children aged 36-72 months.

Maintenance Features

  • Pre-use Inspection: Before each use, adults should inspect the product and its essential parts to ensure they are in functional condition. Check for loose screws or other potential hazards. Any damaged or defective parts must be repaired or resolved before use.
  • Lubrication: Apply a small amount of lubricant oil to moving parts (e.g., motors, gears, hardware) to prevent rust, wear, or tear.
  • Storage: Store the car away from fire, direct sunlight, hot objects (stoves, heaters), and flammable materials. Keep it in a stable position, away from extreme temperatures and climates, to prevent plastic melting or ignition.
  • Cleaning: Use a soft cloth to clean the car. Do not use chemical solvents, soap, or water, as these can damage the motor, battery, and circuit system. Avoid driving the car in precipitation (snow, rain).
  • Battery Maintenance:
    • After each use, ensure the car is adequately charged by an adult.
    • If the product is inactive for an extended period (at least one month), it must be fully charged. Disconnect the red battery wire and charge it at least once a month to maintain battery functionality and life.
    • Always use the pressing plate to fix the battery.
    • When the battery is no longer functional, adults are responsible for safely removing and disposing of it in a battery-safe facility.
    • The charger and battery are not toys and should be kept away from children.
    • Do not open the battery or charger, or reverse the battery polarity.
    • Inspect the charger, battery, and plug for damage before charging. Discontinue use if any abnormalities are found.
  • General Maintenance:
    • When inactive or discontinued, shut off all power by disconnecting the red battery wire and ensuring all switches are in the "STOP" or "OFF" position.
    • Do not use third-party or different fuses.
    • Do not modify the product structure or circuit system. Maintenance and repair work should be done under the guidance of a professional or technician.
    • Do not use the product for purposes other than its intended use.
    • Battery negative short circuits are prohibited.
    • Rechargeable batteries must be charged under adult supervision. Non-rechargeable batteries cannot be charged. Ensure batteries are installed with correct polarity.
    • Do not mix old and new batteries, including different types of batteries.
    • Low batteries should be removed from the car and kept away from children.
    • Disconnect batteries when the car is completely inactive or discontinued, and do not let children use the car in this state.
