• When driving across a slope with
mounted implements, keep such
implements on the uphill side. Do
not raise implements. Keep them
as low and near to the ground as
possible.

• Avoid crossing steep slopes if pos-
sible. If you must do so, avoid any
holes or depressions on the down-
hill side. Avoid any stumps, rocks,
bumps or raised areas on the uphill
side.

1. Enter or leave the tractor leftward
griping hand rail on a fender.
WARNING

Do not jump on or o the trac-
tor. It may cause injuries. Always
face the tractor, use the hand
rails and steps, and get on or o
slowly. Maintain a minimum three
point contact to avoid falling.

foot on the step, or one hand on
the hand rail and both feet on
the steps)
