USER'S MANUAL
DA5100-HC
Hydraulic Hose Crimping Machine
Clockwise rotation is the correct direction, as shown by the red arrow in the gure.
If you nd that the motor does not rotate clockwise, please change the connection of A and B, or
replace B and C, restart the machine, and check the direction of motor rotation.
3) Common problem: If the motor is noisy or the motor fan cannot rotate evenly after the motor
starts, please use an electric meter to check whether the power input is stable and the voltage
meets the requirements.
8. TESTING
In manual mode, activate the mold close button, and the machine mold will slowly close.
If the machine does not shake, it proves that the machine is ok, and you can directly use the machi-
ne to work normally.
If the machine shakes, it proves that there is a small amount of air remaining inside the machine.
Solution:
Remove the front limit and the rear limit, please pay attention to put them on a clean cardboard box
or cotton cloth, do not touch magnets and iron objects.
Then press the mold to open and close, each time you have to wait for the pressure gauge to
display the pressure, and then switch to another button.
Repeat ve rounds.
Remove the air inside the machine, and nally put the micrometer and the rear limit back to the
original position.
Please take care to protect the sensor link cable.
Don't knock, otherwise it will affect the use of the machine.
9. FREQUENTLY QUESTIONS AND SOLUTIONS
Please check the oil level gauge or the turning direction of the motor fan, according to the previous
introductions, and eliminate the problems step by step according to the following solutions.
Questions 1: Mould base in the nose can not move forward

Overview

DA5100-HC Hydraulic Hose Crimping Machine

The DA5100-HC is a hydraulic hose crimping machine designed for efficient and precise crimping of hydraulic hoses. This ninth-generation model incorporates advancements from previous "68" and "88" series machines, as well as features inspired by British-imported crimping machines, offering high practicality and economy.

Function Description

The primary function of the DA5100-HC is to crimp hydraulic hoses. It operates by applying significant pressure to a hose fitting, causing it to shrink and securely attach to the hose. The machine is equipped with a positive cone design, which enhances its performance and longevity compared to traditional negative cone designs. This design ensures a more robust withhold quality and extends the lifespan of the machine's components. The large diameter hole in the center of the crimping machine facilitates easy passage of abnormal fittings.

Important Technical Specifications

  • Crimping Range: 1/4" - 2"
  • Quantity of Dies: 10 sets (15, 19, 23, 26, 31, 36, 41, 47, 55, 63)
  • Maximum Opening: ≥ 75 mm
  • System Pressure: 31.5 MPa
  • Crimping Force: 500 T
  • Output Volume of Pump: 6 L
  • Motor Power: 3 kW
  • Voltage: 380 V 3-phase (also available in 220V/110V single-phase power)
  • Work Efficiency: 200 pcs/h
  • Package Dimension: 770x530x1320 mm
  • Packing Weight: 280 kg
  • Hydraulic Oil Requirement: Approximately 60 liters of N0.46# hydraulic oil for winter (or in Southeast Asia and Middle East) and No.68# for summer (or in Africa). No. 32 hydraulic oil is recommended for Russia and Europe, with 46 and 32 used together in European areas.

Usage Features

Installation and Setup: Before installation, prepare about 60L of the appropriate hydraulic oil (N0.46# for winter, N0.68# for summer, or N0.32# for specific regions). A 6M cable is required to connect the machine to the general switch. The electric cabinet should be opened and checked by skilled electricians, easily accessible by loosening four screws.

Operation: The machine features a positioner for precise crimping. When the scales point to 0:0, the withhold size matches the mould size. Turning the positioner clockwise by one lap increases the withhold diameter by 1 mm, and anticlockwise decreases it. The perimeter is divided into 100 parts for absolute accuracy. The recommended crimping standard involves shrinking the internal hole of the rubber hose fitting by 0.1mm to 1mm, with a warning not to exceed this range to preserve service life.

Fueling: Fueling involves opening the oil hole and pouring the specified anti-abrasion hydraulic oil into the red spot until approximately 60 liters are added. An oil level display helps monitor the oil quantity.

Electrical Connections: A special cable, at least 6 square meters thick and more than 5 meters long, is recommended. The cable connects to the machine's power input (ABC for three-phase, A and C for single-phase). A separate power switch outside the machine is necessary, and the input voltage must be stable and accurate. For 380V three-phase power, it's crucial to check that the motor rotates clockwise during the test run. If not, the connection of A and B, or B and C, should be swapped.

Test Run: For first-time use with 220V single-phase power, link A and C, turn on the machine, and let it idle for one minute without operating the mold. For 380V three-phase power, link A, B, and C, then start the machine. Check the motor's clockwise rotation by observing the fan's direction. If the motor is noisy or the fan doesn't rotate evenly, check the power input stability and voltage.

Troubleshooting (Common Issues):

  • Machine shaking during test run: Indicates air remaining inside the machine. Solution involves removing front and rear limits, pressing mold open/close buttons repeatedly while waiting for pressure gauge display, and then reassembling.
  • Mould base not moving forward: Check relay base wires, solenoid valve light, push solenoid valve core, or disassemble and clean the solenoid valve.
  • Mould base not moving backward: Check the fourth relay light, induction limit, relay base wires, push solenoid valve core, or disassemble and clean the solenoid valve.
  • Movement without button operation: Power off, press close/open mold buttons alternatively, then re-power, or disassemble and clean the solenoid.
  • Operation panel not working: Check the insurance on the left of the white blank switch in the electric cabinet.
  • Electric motor not moving forward/backward: Check if the electric motor starts, verify power supply to all three wires for three-phase power, and check for loose contacts in the electric motor switch.

Maintenance Features

Lubrication: Before use, lubricate the front internal cone with a mixture of butter and hydraulic oil (1:1 ratio) using a small oil brush or squirt. This helps remove iron debris and increases the machine's service life. The mixed oil should be applied to the bottom of the eight-petal seat of the machine head.

Cleaning: The slope between the mould seat and front board must be cleaned frequently to prevent impurities like iron scrap, mud, sand, cotton, and silk from causing damage.

General Care:

  • Always put the workpiece into the mould before processing; never let it out of the mould during operation to prevent damage.
  • Do not use the mould outside its specified range to avoid damage or breakage.
  • Exercise caution with hands during operation.
  • When powering off the machine, ensure the mould base returns to its original position to prevent spring deformation.
  • Turn off the general power switch after work to extend the machine's service life.
  • Protect the sensor link cable from knocks, as this can affect machine performance.
  • The valve on the machine is forbidden to rotate; any malfunction caused by rotating it will not be covered by the warranty.

Warranty: The product comes with a 2-year warranty covering failures due to poor-quality materials or manufacturing workmanship. The warranty is valid only when the warranty card and cutting coupons are properly filled. It does not cover mechanical damage, damage from aggressive media or foreign objects, overloading, misuse, clogged fuel/cooling systems, wearing parts, electrical cable damage, unauthorized repairs, or if the warranty card is incomplete or missing the seller's stamp/holder's signature.
