4.2. Start by electric starter (for model GDA 7500 DFE, 3500 DFE).
Turn the key to the START position and hold it in this position until the engine starts, but no more
than 5 seconds. If the engine does not start, turn the key to the OFF position and try again after 10
seconds. Once the engine starts, turn the key to the ON position.
• DF series gas generators are started on gasoline.
• Before starting the generator, make sure that the gas supply from the cylinder is closed.
ATTENTION!
• Do not use gasoline and liquefied gas at the same time.
• When using gasoline, the gas supply must be turned o.
• When using gas, the gasoline supply must be turned o.
• Disconnect all electrical load from the generator before starting.
ATTENTION!
1. Before use, make sure all hoses and connectors are securely connected.
2. Connect all electrical appliances ONLY after the generator engine has warmed up. (Due to gasoline
residue in the carburetor, the engine may run erratically at first.)
3. If a gas leak occurs, shut o the gas supply to the cylinder and promptly turn o electrical appliances.

Do not use the throttle when the engine is warmed up and the ambient temperature is high.
ATTENTION!
Do not throw the starter handle abruptly after starting, but slowly return the starter back.
ATTENTION!
To start the liquefied gas generator, follow these steps:
1. Open the fuel supply from the tank to the carburetor by turning the fuel cock.
2. Close the throttle.
З. Turn on the engine ignition by turning the key or the power button on the front panel to the ON
position.
4.1. Starting the engine with pull starter.
Pull the starter handle gently until you feel engagement and increased resistance, then pull hard
with a full wave of the arm, try again if necessary. Gently let it get back taking care of not damaging
the starter.
