Using your Carving Knife
1. Insert the Mains Plug (2) into a suitable mains socket.
WARNING! Do not plug into the mains supply before the Blades (6) are
inserted. Do not use with wet hands.
2. Press and hold the On/Off Button (8) to switch the
appliance on.
3. To carve food such as roast meat joints, guide the Blades
(6) through the food.
With the dual blade carving action it is not necessary to
move the knife back and forth.
4. To stop carving at any point release the On/Off Button
(8) and the appliance will turn off.
This Carving Knife is not suitable for cutting through
bones as this will cause the blades to dull.
WARNING! Do not continuously operate the Carving Knife for long periods
as the motor may overheat. Allow the knife to rest for 30 seconds after 1
minute of usage.
Removing the Blades (6)
WARNING! Make sure the appliance is not connected to the mains supply
before removing or replacing the blades.
1. Unplug the Carving Knife from the mains supply.
2. Press the Eject Button (7), the Blades (6) will automatically be released from
the Motor Housing (4).
3. The Blades (6) can now be removed for cleaning.
Cleaning and storing your Carving Knife
• Always disconnect the Carving Knife from the mains power supply before
cleaning.
• Detach the Blades (6) from the Motor Housing (4) as per the above instructions.
• Wipe clean the outside of the Motor Housing (4) with a soft damp cloth and
dry thoroughly.
• Wash the Blades (6) in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly afterwards.
• Do not clean any part of your carving Knife in a dishwasher.
• Do not submerge any part of the Motor Housing (4) or mains cable in water or
any other liquids.
• Never clean any part of the Motor Housing (4) with harsh or abrasive cleaners.
• Place the protective blade cover over the Blades (6) and place into the original
packaging. Store away from children.
