2 Cable Connection
When using RS–232 transmission, the cable length cannot be more than 15 m (49.2 ft).
Use RS–485 to communicate over medium and long distance. Make sure that the shielded
twisted pair cable is used, and the shield layer of the cable is grounded. When the transmission
distance is more than 300 m (984.3 ft), terminal resistance (generally 120 Ω) is required.
