Fan Speed – Cooling and Heating Mode
Cooling Mode - when in this mode air is exhausted from the vent side of the unit as shown if
figure 1. The fan speed is variable and noticeable when changed from Low – Med – High
.

Heat Mode – when in this mode air is exhausted from the rear end of the unit as shown in
Figure 2. The fan speed is not variable – does not change but fixed at one speed. [This is
not a fault] - User guide page 8 steps 3 is a misprint – Fan speed cannot be changed.

Note: - Exhaust air duct must be connected to extract hot or cold air from the room. In cool
mode duct must be connected to figure 2 and in heat mode connected to figure 1. Refer to
user guide for instructions.
