6.3.5 Setting the water outlet water temperature
The workload of a Daikin water chiller is controlled by the outlet water temperature which can
be set by using the equipment controller.
By default, the outlet water temperature is set to 7°C. It can be set from 4 ~15°. Out of this
range, some other parameters are needed to be changed as well. Please contact local Daikin
office or distributor to have qualified technician to do the setting accordingly.
6.3.6 Cleaning the water system
While installing the water system, it may create a lot of welding slags, dirt or other foreign
materials. It may damage the evaporator if the chiller is connected directly to the water system
without cleaning. Please do not circulate the water into chiller's evaporator until the water is
properly cleaned. A bypass flushing of water before evaporator is highly recommended.
6.3.7 Water quality
Water quality directly affects the performance and life expectancy of the equipment. Therefore,
the water quality must be analyzed and monitored accordingly in order to ensure the equipment
to work properly. Please refer to the next page table for water quality table.
