Overview

The Daiwa RODEO CORE (USJ-804) is an exercise unit designed to strengthen and tone the waist, stomach, back, and legs. This energy-saving device operates without electricity, making it a convenient and eco-friendly option for home fitness. Its primary function is to provide a workout that burns calories and increases blood circulation through a unique circular motion.

Technical Specifications:

  • Product Name: RODEO CORE
  • Model #: USJ-804
  • Weight: 32 lbs.
  • Maximum User Weight: 250 lbs.
  • Dimensions: 27.5 x 21.6 x 29.1 inches

Usage Features:

The RODEO CORE offers three height variations to suit individual figures, ensuring a comfortable and effective workout for a range of users. Assembly is straightforward, involving the attachment of the support rod, unfolding and locking the rear stabilizer, adjusting the saddle height, and inserting the pedals and anchors.

To begin operation, users can be barefoot or wear appropriate exercise shoes. The user sits on the saddle with the handgrip in front and one leg on each side of the unit. The handgrip provides balance during use. The exercise involves placing both feet on the pedals, leaning forward to shift weight onto the feet, then shifting weight backward while maintaining balance on the saddle. This action creates a continuous forward and backward circular motion. To stop, users simply relax their muscles until the movement halts, or for an immediate stop, lift one foot off the pedal and place it on the floor.

The manual outlines specific exercises for different muscle groups:

Waist Workout:

  1. Sit on the saddle, place both feet on the pedal, and lean forward, shifting weight onto the feet.
  2. Lift buttocks.
  3. Simultaneously lean forward at the waist.
  4. Squeeze stomach muscles.
  5. Sit back, shifting weight onto buttocks.

Thigh Workout:

  1. Sit on the saddle, place both feet on the pedal, and lean forward, shifting weight onto the feet.
  2. Lean back onto buttocks.
  3. With feet on the pedals, lean forward again to shift weight onto feet, squeezing thigh muscles.
  4. Repeat.

For users who initially find it difficult to generate the saddle's momentum, a specific technique is recommended: at the start of the exercise, grip the handle on the seat between the legs, lean forward, then forcefully press the feet on the pedal to send the seat swinging backward. Allow the natural movement of the seat to shift forward again, and repeat pressing on the pedal with the feet.

The maximum recommended usage time for the RODEO CORE is 30 minutes per session to prevent discomfort.
