GCS (Grinder Control System)
This coffee grinder is equipped with an electronic
control system for the digital programming of
grinding time and grind fineness. Moreover, it can
be adjusted automatically by connecting it to Dalla
Corte evo2 or dc pro coffee machines through a
serial cable.
This system controls and adjusts coffee grind
fineness by means of the espresso machine.
The machine monitors every coffee extraction: if
extraction parameters do not correspond to the set
ones, it sends the coffee grinder an order to modify
grind fineness and grinding time.
Setting up for installation
The appliance shall be installed next to the coffee
machine on a stable and safe bearing surface
(compatible with appliance weight) that is 33cm
wide, 40 cm deep and 75 cm high. A 10-16 amp
single-phase power socket compliant with local
laws must be installed as well.
Installation
After unpacking the appliance, make sure it is
undamaged and no parts are missing. If you are
in any doubt, do not use it.
Do not leave packing elements within reach of
children, since they are potentially dangerous.
Check that technical data on the identification plate
match with those of the installation place before
plugging the appliance into the electric system.
If power cable needs to be replaced, replace it with
a cable that is suggested by the manufacturer.

Installation must be carried out in compliance with laws in force, following the manufacturer’s
instructions and by qualified personnel only. Wrong installation can harm persons, animals and
objects. The manufacturer shall be held responsible for any damages caused by wrong installation.
