The RTU5024 is a GSM Gate Opener and Remote Switch designed for authorized door access, gate control, remote equipment switching, and car parking systems. It allows users to turn ON/OFF systems, machines, and equipment remotely with a FREE call from their mobile phone, providing a secure and convenient way to manage access and control.

Function Description:

The RTU5024 operates by rejecting calls from authorized numbers and then carrying out a pre-programmed ON/OFF action. This means there are no call charges for the user. It can be used to open sliding gates, swing gates, garage doors, barriers, shutters, and other access doors or machines. The device uses caller ID for identification, ignoring calls from unknown numbers to enhance security. It can be operated from anywhere without distance limitations, as long as there is GSM network coverage. The unit features one output with a relay rated at 3A/240VAC for connecting to the switch of a door or machine. The relay action can be configured to return an SMS confirmation to the owner, a feature that is editable by the user. The device supports up to 200 authorized phone numbers, eliminating the need for multiple remote controls for different users.

• Troubleshooting SMS Issues: If the remote control works but the unit fails to send SMS texts, users should power cycle the Control Unit, wait one minute, and retest. They should also check settings and GSM signal strength.
• SIM Card Check: If the Control Unit operates but cannot send SMS texts, changing the SIM Card is recommended for troubleshooting.
• Factory Reset: The RTU5024 can be reset to factory defaults by sending the SMS command pwd#RESET# or by pressing the RESET key beside the SIM Card for several seconds until the RUN LED stays ON.
• Installation Guidelines: The mainframe should be installed in a secure location inaccessible to unauthorized persons, with a stable power source and sufficient GSM signal coverage.
• Important Information: Users are advised to read the manual carefully, install the system in a hidden place, avoid water exposure, and ensure a secure connection to the main power supply.
