The power supply is optional, the base station can be powered by the USB
port. In this case, the full charging of an empty battery will take about 16
hours with an approved USB cable (type A) and 6.5 hours with an approved
USB cable (type C) at ambient temperature. For intense usage and/or when
the system is shut down during the night, the use of an external power supply
is recommended.
