Monitor

positive
output
at

terminating
load

high
impedance
probe.
A
single
flat
topped
pulse
5
cm
wide
and
5
cm
high
with
near
vertical
rise
and
fall
time
should
appear
on
the
oscilloscope.

Turn

POSITIVE
AMPLITUDE
control
counterclockwise
and
note
that
the
amplitude
decreases
without
any
noticeable
effect
on
waveshape
down
to
2
volts.
Return
the
AMPLITUDE
to
the
10V
position.

load

POS
OUTPUT
and
reconnect
it
to
the
NEG
OUTPUT.
The
negative
pulse
should
look
like
the
positive
pulse
inverted
on
the
oscilloscope.

vernier
counterclockwise.

smoothly
left
or
right,
following
the
control
movements.
