4.8 System Setup
The vPad-IV Setup menu (

), entered from the main menu of the app, enables users to access
AutoSequence programming and additional device and app settings.
4.8.1 Password Setup
Access to the Setup menu may be optionally protected by a password. Department managers or institutions
may require such security to prevent technicians from making changes to approved maintenance protocols.
If a password has been created, then a user must enter the correct password before the Setup menu will be
displayed.
To create or modify the password, press Edit Password on the Setup menu to display the "Edit
Password" dialog. An active password can be disabled by clearing the password field on dialog then pressing
Save and Exit. As indicated on the dialog, you can long-press on the text field to erase the password.
In the event a password is entered but is later forgotten, you can enter an override password which will
grant access to the Setup menu. Once you gain access to the menu, the password can be erased or a new
password entered. The override password is specific to each vPad unit. Contact Datrend Customer Service
to obtain further instructions for the override password.
