Note: There is a safety clutch within the gear
box. When the clothesline is in maximum lowest
or highest position the handle will rotate freely
(clicking sound), which prevents damage to the
gear box.
3. To raise the hoist for ‘free spinning’ wind
drying, simply rotate the handle in a
clockwise direction to disengage the wind
break. (See Fig. 6 – 7)
To activate the wind brake, turn the
handle anti-clockwise until the two
serrated plastic faces meet. This will lock
the clothesline head and prevent the hoist
from freely spinning.(See Fig. 8 – 9)
