Installation Requirements:
- Tools required: 5m (16 feet) measuring tape, pencil or marker, hammer, hammer drill, masonry drill bit (8mm or 5/16" diameter), screw driver (Phillip Head), and optionally a twist drill 2mm (5/64") diameter.
- Mounting hardware: The product includes a wall to wall fixing pack with detailed installation instructions.
- Wall types: Suitable for installation into bricks and timber walls. For other types of wall structures, consult a local hardware specialist.
- Installation steps:
- Mark recommended installation height and cabinet/retaining hook position.
- For cabinet wall side, turn mounting bracket facing against the wall and mark two hole positions. Drill two holes with 8mm (5/64") diameter x 35 - 40mm (1.4 - 1.6 inch) depth.
- For retaining hook wall side, drill hook position with 8mm diameter x 35 - 40mm depth (1.4 - 1.6 inch). For Twin Line model, repeat Step 3 to drill second hook position. Recommended center to center hole positions 50mm - 80mm (2 - 3.2 inch).
- Install retaining hook by inserting plug into the hole and screwing hook into position. For Twin Line model, repeat Step 4 to install second retaining hook.
- Install cabinet by inserting plastic plug into the hole and affixing screws, leaving 6-8mm (15/64 - 5/16") distance from shoulder head to the wall.
- Align and locate cabinet mounting hole into screw and pull down slightly to secure correctly. Tighten screws into positions.
Usage Features
Operating Instructions:
- Gently pull line out of the cabinet.
- Extend line and securely hook onto the retaining hook on the opposite wall.
- From cabinet side, pull the line taut and loop around safety anchors twice to secure the line. For Twin Line model, repeat Steps 1-3 to extend second line.
Safety Hint:
- Do not use the clothesline other than to hang and dry washing.
- Ensure the clothesline is not used as play item by children swinging or hanging on lines.
