3-way Center Channel
Speaker. This speaker is specifically designed for use in home
theater surround sound systems. It uses two 3-3/4" polypropylene
woofers, a 5/8" polycarbonate tweeter, and piezo supertweeter for
extended highs. This arrangement provides great sonic performance
from any listening position.
Connection: Use a high-quality wire to connect your speakers to
your amplifier; 16 or 18 gauge is recommended. Be sure to connect
this speaker with the same polarity as the rest of the system using
the red binding post as positive in all speakers in the system.
Placement: The center channel speaker should be located directly
in the center of the home theater system, either above or below the
viewing screen. For best sound, it should be located in the same
plane as the viewing screen, i.e. not back in behind the TV.
