Auxiliary functions
Buzzer cancel
• At the end of a drying programme an
audible chime (buzzer) will sound.
• If you find this annoying, you may undo
this function by pressing the Cancel
audio warning button.
• The relevant indicator light will switch on
to denote the chime (buzzer) has been
cancelled.
• This may be done either before or after
the programme starts.
Filter cleaning
• A warning light will switch on to act as a
reminder whenever the filter requires
cleaning.
Water tank
• A warning light will switch on to act as a
reminder whenever the water tank is full
and requires emptying.
• Should the tank become full during the
drying cycle the light will flash and the
dryer will pause.
• Drain the tank and press the Start /
Pause / cancel button.
• The symbol switches off and the drying
programme resumes.
Time delay
• A programme start time may be delayed
by 3, 6 or 9 hours.
• Load the laundry and close the dryer
door.
• Select the drying programme and any
desired auxiliary functions.
• Press the time delay button repeatedly to
select either a 3,6 or 9 hour delay.
• Pressing the button once more, cancels
the time delay function.
• The relevant indicator light will switch on
• Press the Start / Pause / Cancel button.
• During the delay period laundry will be
rotated for 4 seconds every 10 minutes to
prevent creasing
• Additional laundry may be added at any
time during the time delay period.
• At the end of the countdown the selected
drying programme will commence and
the time delay symbol will switch off.
Cancelling the time delay
• Should you wish to cancel the time delay
and start the dryer immediately Press
and hold the Start / Hold / Cancel button
for 3 seconds.
• Thereafter press the Start / Hold / Cancel
button to start the programme right
away.
Progress indicators
• You may monitor the drying process by
means of the programme progress
indicators.
• These will light up at the beginning of
each programme step and switch off
when that step has been completed.
• The drying light will be illuminated until
Iron dry lights up, followed by Cupboard
dry and so on until End / Anti-creasing.
• If more than one light is illuminated a
problem has occurred. See trouble
shooting in this book.
Child lock
• The dryer is equipped with a child lock to
prevent accidental activation of the dryer
controls while it is operating.
• When the lock is activated only the Start /
Pause / Cancel button remains
operational. Even the door locks.
• To activate the lock, press and hold the
tart / Pause / Cancel button and the
Cancel Audio warning button
simultaneously for 3 seconds. A long
beep will sound.
• Any attempt at pushing buttons while the
lock is active is followed by 2 beeps
• To cancel, during a programme press
and hold the same buttons again for 3
seconds. A single beep will sound.
NOTE
The lock is deactivated when the
machine is restarted by pressing the
ON / Off Button
