Function
To adjust the ramp to brake the beam from the fast closing phase to mute.
Description
For large machines it is sometimes desired to adjust (or trim) the brake ramp during closing.

The recommended way to adjust this parameter
• Program the closing speed lower or equal to the hydraulic closing speed.
• Program machine parameter 32 (closing ramp offset) to 0 (zero).
• Set the machine to ‘adjust’ mode (hand input active).
• Adjust parameter 46 until you get a smooth stop of the beam at the mute point.
• Program then machineparameter 32 to a value that the beam stops about 0.5 - 1 mm lower
than the programmed mute position.
Note
This parameter is related to machine parameter 47 (= gain trim for closing movement),
increasing this parameter will also result in steeper braking and vice versa.
