8. Lift the kettle from the base and pour out the water.
9. NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scalding.
10. Do not open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.
11. To repeat the boiling procedure press the power switch down again. NOTE: Always disconnect from power supply when not use.
12. BOIL-DRY PROTECTION : Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically switch o the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool
down before lling with cold water to boil again.
5) CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Always disconnect the device from the power supply and cool it down completely before cleaning.
2. Never immerse the kettle, power cord or base in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.
3. External surfaces can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed.
4. CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle to prevent the gloss loss.
5. The kettle may be stored on the base when not in use.5. When not in use or stored, the power cable can be stored at the bottom of the base.
6. 6REMOVAL OF MINERAL DEPOSITS: Internal part of the kettle and mesh lter should be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in tap water may cause scaling and inuence the
performance of the device. You can use the commercially available non-poisonous descale agent or white vinegar:
7. Fill the kettle with 5 large spoons of white vinegar, then add water just enough to cover the eected (bottom) of the kettle.. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
8. NOTE: If needed you can detach the mesh lter (by pressing the ap while pushing lter inwards) and place it in the vinegar/water solution inside the kettle as well.
9. Remove the mixture from the kettle and ll it with clean water to max level (1,7 l). Boil and discard the water. Repeat several times until the odor of vinegar has been ushed away. Any
potential stains (on the spout) can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
6) TROUBLESHOOTING
ISSUE POSSIBLE CAUSES/SOLUTIONS
No power Check if the device is plugged to power supply properly. Make sure that the power switch is turned ON (pressed down); Check if the kettle is correctly
positioned on the base; lastly check the power supply fuse and replace/reactivate if needed.
If the issue persists, the device has probably malfunctioned. Contact your local dealer for replacement.
Poor heating up Descaling needed.
Liquid leakage Contact your local dealer for replacement
