4 Using a plastic scribe, pry and release the tabs on the base cover from the slots
on the palm-rest assembly.
5 Lift the base cover from the palm-rest assembly.
6 Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
7 Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to ground the system board.
