3 Remove the battery.
NOTE
: Your laptop is either shipped with a 3-cell or 4-cell battery.
a To remove a 3-cell battery:
1 Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board [1].
2 Remove the M2 x 5 screw that secures the battery to the computer [2].
3 Lift the battery from the computer [3].
