Overview

The Dellonda Inflatable Hot Tub Spa (Models DL88, DL89, DL90, DL91) is a portable, inflatable hot tub designed for outdoor domestic use, featuring a bubble jet massage system and a smart pump for heating and filtration.

Function Description:

The hot tub provides a relaxing spa experience with a bubble jet massage system. It inflates in minutes using the supplied pump and heats water to a maximum of 40°C (104°F). A power-saving temperature sensor automatically reheats the water if it drops 2°C below the set temperature. The digital LED control panel allows users to manage heating, massage, and filtration functions.

  • Electrical Safety: Supplied through a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 10mA. Recommended fuse rating: 13 Amp.
  • Load Bearing: The floor must be capable of supporting the expected load (≥ 500kg/m²).

Usage Features:

  • Easy Setup: No tools are required for setup, and the spa inflates in minutes using the supplied pump. The inflation hose connects to the pump outlet and then to the spa's air valve. The air flow valve prevents over-inflating.
  • Control Panel: Features an LED display showing current water temperature. Buttons for filtration, heat, massage, and lock. Temperature units can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Desired temperature can be set between 30°C and 40°C (86°F and 104°F). The control panel can be locked to prevent accidental changes.
  • Massage Function: Activates the bubble massage system. Automatically stops after 30 minutes of operation. Cannot be activated if heating or filtration functions are active.
  • Heating Function: Activates water heating and filtration simultaneously. The pump stops heating once the set temperature is reached and restarts if the temperature drops 2°C below the set point.
  • Filtration Function: Activates the water filtration system. An audible alarm and "CHG FIL" message will appear after 150 cumulative hours of filtration to remind users to clean or change the filter.
  • Safety Features:
    • RCD plug for electrical safety, which must be tested before each use.
    • Spa cover with safety buckles to minimize heat loss and prevent unauthorized access, especially by children. Each buckle has a lock system.
    • Signage provided on or near the spa for prominent visibility.
    • Recommendations for continuous adult supervision of weak swimmers and non-swimmers, especially children.
    • Advisories against diving into shallow water, using the spa under the influence of alcohol or medication, or leaving the spa empty outdoors.
    • Warning against using extension cables, timers, plug adapters, or converter plugs for electrical connection.
    • Instructions to keep rescue equipment and emergency contact numbers near the spa.
    • Guidance on maintaining proper water treatment and hygiene.

Maintenance Features:

  • Filter Cartridge:
    • Should be regularly cleaned (every 150 hours max.) by rinsing with a garden hose.
    • Should be replaced every 1 to 2 months if it remains dirty and discoloured.
    • The filtration system will remind users to clean/change the filter after 150 cumulative hours.
  • Water Quality:
    • Spa water should be changed every 15 to 30 days.
    • Use a water test kit to control water parameters (at least once a week).
    • Use active oxygen-based treatment or bromine in a floating dispenser for sanitation. Do not add bath oil or bath salt.
    • Water balance (pH) must be maintained between 7 and 7.4.
    • Clean spa walls with soap and water, rinsing thoroughly with a garden hose.
  • Draining: The spa can be drained by removing the stopper on the bottom and unscrewing the drain cap. The massage button can be pressed to blow out water from jet holes before draining.
  • Cleaning: After draining, wipe off the pool with a towel and let it dry for 24 hours.
  • Storage: It is recommended to store the spa in its original packaging in a warm, dry place after cleaning and drying.
  • Repair Kit: Small holes or punctures can be repaired using the supplied repair kit and glue. Instructions include finding the leak, cleaning the area, cutting a patch, applying adhesive, pressing the patch firmly, and allowing sufficient drying time.
  • Cover Maintenance: Covers should be cleaned periodically inside and out with a suitable disinfecting solution.
  • Troubleshooting Guide: The manual includes a comprehensive troubleshooting table for common issues such as the control panel not operating, pump not heating, massage system not working, filtration issues, and leaks, along with possible causes and suggested solutions. Error codes (E1, E3, E4, E5, E6) are also explained with corresponding solutions.
