What to do if no espresso is delivered from my DeLonghi COM53?
    • C
      Craig WilsonAug 3, 2025
If no espresso is coming out of your DeLonghi Coffee Maker, there might be several reasons. First, check if the water tank is empty and fill it if needed. Also, the holes in the filter holder might be blocked, so try cleaning them. Another possibility is that the tank isn't correctly placed, make sure to push it down lightly to open the valve at the bottom. Scale or hard water deposits in the water circuit can also cause this issue, so perform the descaling procedure. Finally, the espresso boiler outlet could be blocked, clean it as described in the manual.

Why is espresso dripping from the edges of the filter holder on my DeLonghi COM53?

      Stephen VargasAug 18, 2025
If espresso is dripping from the edges of the filter holder instead of the holes on your DeLonghi Coffee Maker, it could be due to two main reasons. First, ensure that the filter holder is correctly attached and rotated firmly as far as it can go. Also, the holes in the filter holder spouts might be blocked, so try cleaning the spout holes.
