Usage Features

- Control Panel: Features "MENU" (D10), "NEXT" (D11), "CHANGE" (D3), and "OK" (D4) buttons for navigating settings. Dedicated buttons for coffee quantity (D5, D6) and strength (D2) are also present. The "AUTOMATIC CAPPUCCINO" button (D7) initiates the automatic milk frothing process.

Maintenance Features

- Cleaning the Coffee Maker: The machine requires regular cleaning of the grounds container (A15), drip tray (A13), inside the service door (A14), water tank (A10), coffee spouts (A16), hot water nozzle (A9), pre-ground coffee funnel (A7), infuser (A18), and milk container (B6).
- Emptying Grounds Container: The "EMPTY GROUNDS CONTAINER" message appears when the grounds container is full. It should be emptied and cleaned regularly.
- Cleaning the Drip Tray: The drip tray (A13) has a level indicator (red) that shows when it needs to be emptied.
- Cleaning the Infuser: The infuser (A18) should be removed and cleaned at least once a month.
- Cleaning the Water Tank: The water tank (A10) should be cleaned regularly with a damp cloth and mild washing-up liquid.
- Cleaning the Milk Container: The milk container (B6) and its components (lid, frother regulator, milk spout, and intake tube) must be cleaned after each use to prevent blockages and ensure hygiene. The "CLEAN" button on the milk container should be pressed to initiate a cleaning cycle.
- Descaling: The machine requires periodic descaling, indicated by the "DESCALE" message. The descaling program guides the user through the process, which involves using a descaling solution. The frequency of descaling depends on the water hardness setting.
- Service Door: The service door (A14) provides access to the infuser and other internal components for cleaning.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for common issues such as coffee not being hot enough, creamy enough, or delivered too slowly, and problems with milk frothing or dispensing.
Electrical Requirements
The appliance must be connected to a 13-amp fused plug. The wiring colors are:
- Green and Yellow: Earth
